Amanda Livingston Raises $500 To Benefit Advocacy Center

2015 Apr 29

Amanda Livingston, a junior writing major in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Ithaca College and programming and recruitment chair of IC Women in Communications, contributed to the organization's efforts to raise $500 to benefit the Ithaca Advocacy Center.

Livingston participated in a three-hour Dance-a-Thon that benefited the advocacy center in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Ithaca Advocacy Center is a resource in Ithaca, N.Y., that provides free services to people who have been sexually or emotionally abused.

IC Women in Communications is an on-campus organization with the objective of helping members prepare for their careers both as women and as communications students, as well as to make connections in the world of communications while still at Ithaca College.
