Dominick Recckio Awarded for Contributions to Ithaca College Campus Life

Dominick Recckio has been honored with a Campus Life Award, recognizing his contributions to the Ithaca College community through participation and involvement in campus life.

A member of the Class of 2016, Recckio received his award at a ceremony on May 21, the evening prior to Commencement. Recckio was a Park Scholar at Ithaca College, and served in student government as a senator, vice president, and president. He also worked with the United Way and Big Brother Big Sisters on a number of community service projects.

"This is a great recognition not only of the work that I did, but of the work my peers did to change the campus for the better," said Recckio.

Campus Life Award winners are nominated by faculty, staff or students. Eligible students must have been extensively involved in a number of areas of campus life and demonstrated significant leadership abilities and accomplishments.
