Elijah Breton Awarded for Contributions to Ithaca College Campus

Elijah Breton has been honored with a Campus Life Award, recognizing his contributions to the Ithaca College community through participation and involvement in campus life.

A member of the Class of 2016, Breton received his award at a ceremony on May 21, the evening prior to Commencement. In his time at Ithaca College, Breton worked to improve diversity and inclusion on campus, and was involved in student government and several organizations and committees, including Brothers for Brothers, the academic policy committee, and the parking policy committee.

"For me it really brings everything together and makes me reflect on some great opportunities that I've had and the amazing, incredible people that I've been able to work with over these past few years," said Breton.

Campus Life Award winners are nominated by faculty, staff or students. Eligible students must have been extensively involved in a number of areas of campus life and demonstrated significant leadership abilities and accomplishments.
