Goshen Native Jaime Lisack Named Empire 8 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Jaime Lisack was named Empire 8 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week Monday.

Lisack clocked a season-best six-kilometer finish to lead Ithaca to its ninth straight runner-up finish at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference women's cross country championship Saturday at the Hamilton College Golf Course.

Lisack finished in 23:12.80 to place eighth out of 129 runners. She was the top Empire 8 finisher and earned second-team all-state honors.
