Ithaca College Student Earns NWCA Scholar All-American Honor

Ithaca College student Daniel Pak of Newington, a Business Administration major, earned Scholar All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

To qualify as a NWCA Scholar All-American, wrestlers must have at least a 3.2 GPA and either be a national qualifier with a winning record, a regional place-winner with a winning record, or have a season winning percentage of 67 percent or better.

Pak said that while it can be a challenge to maintain his grades during the wrestling season, he has learned that time management and organization are key.

"It's a great feeling to be recognized for the work you put in on and off the mat," said Pak. "I am truly grateful to have received this award."
