Ithaca College Student Grace Demerath to Lead New York State School Music Association Executive Board

The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) has named Grace Demerath, a junior music education major and horn player at Ithaca College, president-elect of the 2014-15 National Association for Music Education (NAfME)-collegiate/NYSSMA executive board.

Demerath previously served as president of the Ithaca College NAfME chapter.

The NYSSMA serves to advance music education across New York State. It is the largest NAfME state unit in the U.S.
