Ithaca College Students Earn Awards at Speech Tournament

Five Ithaca College students from the IC Speech and Debate Team came away with awards at the Suffolk Fall Classic Speech Tournament on October 24th in Boston, MA. Charlie Vaca '17 finished in first place, Jose Escano '16 finished in second and Shelby Johnston '19 finished in third. Elijah Breton '16 finished third in Interpretation of Prose, and Sean Themea '16 was recognized with a speaker's award for debate. The team earned an overall fourth place sweepstakes award in the tournament.
