Joelle Goldstein Earns Empire 8 Award

Ithaca College student-athlete Joelle Goldstein was awarded Player of the Week by Empire 8 for her volleyball performance. Goldstein helped Ithaca to a 3-0 record, securing the second seed at next month's Empire 8 Tournament. She started the week with a double-double effort with 14 kills and 11 digs in a five-set win over SUNY Oneonta, and in the process she surpassed the 1,000 career-kill milestone. She continued playing strongly during the Empire 8 crossover of the season. She picked up 12 kills and seven digs that resulted in a three-set win for the first game against Utica, and notched her second double-double of the week with 13 kills and 12 digs against Houghton.
