Katherine Fischer Attends Social Media Week 2015

Katherine Fischer, a sophomore integrated marketing communications in the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, attended the seventh annual Social Media Week in New York City.

During the four day event held in New York City Fischer attended speaking events, company sharing session and networking opportunities.

"Social Media Week was a fantastic experience! I would recommend any student interested in media to apply for the Forbes scholarship. This conference contributes a great deal of insight into strategy, technology and innovation, while providing a fantastic networking opportunity. Filled with young professionals, business executives and anyone inspired to learn about social media, you are able to expand your network, while learning about what is new in the industry," said Fischer.

Under the global theme of "Upwardly Mobile: The Rise of the Connected Class," the 2015 conference explored how all humans can achieve more in a connected world.
