Kenneth Bradley Named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week

Kenneth Bradley was named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Ithaca College football defense hold Alfred 26 points below its season average.

Bradley made 10 total tackles in the 17-6 Ithaca win on Saturday including nine solo tackles and one tackle for loss. Alfred entered the game averaging 32.3 points per game. It is the first-career all-conference honor for Bradley.

Bradley is a starting inside linebacker as a freshman, and the team has held its opponents to just 29 total points in three games this season. Ithaca's defense ranks 11th in the country in scoring defense out of 242 teams, as Ithaca has allowed just 9.7 points per game.
