Matt Gurbarg Named Winner in Ithaca College Writing Contest

Matt Gurbarg, a freshman emerging media major in the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, won the first-year essay category in the 2015 Ithaca College Writing Contest for his work "Set Up to Fail: On Institutional Racism".

Gurbarg's work will be published on the Department of Writing's website.

The Writing Contest is open to all full and part-time students. Categories include: first-year essay, feature/magazine, fiction, nonfiction, personal essay, poetry and collaborative professional writing.
