Orleans Native Stephen Gomez Named Empire 8 Athlete of the Week

Stephen Gomez of Orleans was named Empire 8 Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week announced Monday.

Gomez led the Bombers to a third-place finish out of 15 teams at RPI's Saratoga Invitational. He placed 11th out of 170 runners with a 26:28.80 finish.

Ithaca will next race Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Geneseo Invitational.
