Pipersville Native Aimee Chimera Named Empire 8 Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Aimee Chimera of Pipersville was named Empire 8 Women's Soccer Player of the Week announced Monday.

Chimera's selection comes after being named MVP of the conference tournament. Chimera helped the Bombers defeat St. John Fisher, 6-2, in the semifinals and Nazareth, 3-1, in the finals.

With the victories, Ithaca earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, marking the Bomber's 11th straight trip to the NCAA postseason.
